Dust Free Decorating

We Use the Mirka Deros which, when connected to the Mirka 915 industrial dust extractor virtually removes all dust from the working area.

During re-decorating there is one problem that cannot usually be avoided, dust. There are defects, holes and cracks that need to be filled and sanded, also light sanding between coats creates a smaller amount of dust particles but can still hang in the air for a long time after sanding. Not only does sanding create a dusty, unhealthy environment but also leaves a fine dust on unprotected surfaces which can be time consuming to clean up, more importantly though, breathing in these small particles of dust can be a trigger for people with allergies or existing respiratory conditions such as asthma. Decorators can wear suitable dust masks whilst carrying out work but this is not an option or practical for the homeowner who has to live in this environment.
